Review of Punctured, Bruised, and Barely Tattooed by Jade C Jamison

Kory MCCalister was going to see Stone Boronan. He was her dream guy. She had a fear of needles, but had been pierced many times by Stone. The first time she went to the shop was two years ago. Stone was co-owner of the tattoo shop, The Iron Maiden. Kory often felt she didn't belong anywhere on the planet. Kory and her friends Lacy and Tina met every Wednesday at noon at the Main Street Cafe. Her friends push Kory to ask Stone out. She finally does and they go have pizza together. Stone asked Kory if she trusted him to give her a tattoo and she lets him. Kory had a really bad childhood. She thought she had gotten through everything but...
Kory is a tough girl because she has to be. She is a survivor. She didn't have much self-esteem, but through the twists in this story, she grew and changed until she was able to trust and love. Stone also had a bad childhood, but he also had secrets, one he kept so people would like him for himself. He was leery of people, yet he was caring, honest and kind. He is a very artistic person and a good man. He also had his own journey to go through. It was very enjoyable watching both of them go through their journey.
I loved this book and would highly recommend it.
