Review of She Can Kill by Melinda Leigh - 5 Stars

Christopher's daughter, Luciana, is his all. Her mom is Eva. Eva's father is an arms dealer. The whole family is killed by a rival's attack. Christopher and Luciana survive. I loved all the twists and turns in Christopher's life and at the end, he found true happiness. I wasn't really sure I'd enjoy this story, but ended up loving it. It had great characters, a great plot and a great overall story. **I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review

Review of A Kiss From Kringle by Rhian Cahill - 4 Stars

Chris Kringle has recently taken over the family business, Santa’s Village. One day he notices a new “elf” yet he knows she’s not the one that was hired. After meeting Leah Ward, he’s struck in a way that he’s never been struck before. Chris’s straight-forward perception of his feelings for her overwhelms Leah at first, but she can’t help but feel the same pull. This was a short and sweet story. Chris’s feelings after just a few hours had me cringing a bit, even for a novella, but the fact that it threw Leah for a loop was the saving grace. I’d recommend it to anyone that likes sweet contemporaries with some holiday magic. **I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review

Sloane Barrett is a teacher at a privileged high school. She has been getting threatening emails and calls, but when she catches someone in her house, she turns to her best friend’s fiance and his security company for help. There she runs into Ciaran Ross, a man she met at her friend’s engagement party but ran from the attraction. When Ciaran sees Sloane and hears everything she’s been going through, he insists on being in charge of her case. From the moment he saw her, he knew he wanted her, but he refuses to cross that line with a client, until she becomes too much to resist. This was a really fast-paced story that drew me in from the beginning. I loved all aspects of both Sloane and Ciaran. I loved their interactions with each other as they drew closer. They each had serious inner-turmoil they needed to overcome to find happiness. The only complaint I would have is that the author described a lot of what the characters said as murmurs. This is just a pet peeve of mine, but it di

Victoria is an author and a motivational speaker on women finding their own power. She had her heart broken and was looking to get her revenge. Parker was the man who broke her heart and she just walked into his restaurant. All the twists and turns in this story were great. I read most of it in one sitting. I just couldn't stop until the end. I loved it. Excellent plot and overall story and characters. I highly recommend it. **I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review
