Jason Ayers is a surgeon and the pack doctor. Lately he has been dealing with the rage of not being able to treat his pack mates with human technology. To handle his rage, he's been going to fight clubs and avoiding people. Kilani Akamu is a nurse hiding out. When she helped out Jason, their lives seemed destined to be linked together. Jason never believed in true mates until Kilani touches his hand. Now he has to save her life and convince Kilani they were meant to be together. This story was very fast-paced and emotionally charged. Within the pages, both main characters go through a lot of changes and, for Kilani, a lot of self-actualization and dealing with a past she's avoided for years. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more from this author. I recommend to anyone that likes this genre. **I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review**

Review of The Billionaire's Passionate Revenge by Jennifer St. George - 4 Stars

Zara Ravensdale's ancestral home was to go up for repossession in three months. Xavier Hunt hadn't seen Zara in 15 years. When he had passionately loved her, Zara had loved Xavier since she was 11. Zara had been deceived in so many ways, but it all turns around. Xavier had wanted revenge, but instead he got something totally late. I loved the twists and turns of this story. It was a great plot and overall story. I really liked the characters, even the villains. I highly recommend. **I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review**

Review of Wilde At Heart by Tonya Burrows - 5 Stars

Shelby was Eva's sister. Cam was engaged to Eva. Reece Wilde was Cam's brother. Reece wanted Shelby and the feeling was mutual. Reece went through so many changes and ups and downs. For him, it was an extremely enjoyable trip to take with his character. He finally becomes a whole new man. Shelby never had much love in her life. She also went through many ups and downs. I cheered her on through it all. She was stronger than she knew. I loved the plot, the overall story and the characters. I absolutely recommend. **I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review**

Review of Here He Comes Again by Melissa Shirley - 5 Stars

Jocelyn's brother Simon is best friends with her ex-husband Keaton. Keaton and Jocelyn had been divorced for 3 years. On Jocelyn's 30th birthday Keaton calls her to bail him out of jail and eventually demanding another chance. Jocelyn was an excellent character. I really enjoyed her. Every emotion possible was displayed through this story. Her strength and her weakness was Keaton. There were many ups and downs to bring this story to an awesome end. I read this story from the time I started until it was done without setting it down, even with going forth between past and present. It didn't matter in this case. It all came together perfectly. I loved the plot, the overall story and the characters. Every person wishes they had a Keaton in their life. I highly recommend. **I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review**

Tig calls Karen to come get her mom Paula at the bar yet again. Karen played the violin and was auditioning for concert mistress. She had almost 20 years of training and the audition the next morning. Her boyfriend is Scott but only makes half-hearted attempts to see her lately after four years of being together. While at the bar, she meets a stranger and her life is about to change. I loved the way Karen changed and grew and found happiness in many ways. All of the characters were well done. The plot and overall story were good. I highly recommend. **I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review**

Review of Speak No Evil by Vivian Wood - 5 Stars

Asher Ellison is the new addition to the Alpha Guardians. He's very stoic and kind of disconnected from the rest of the group. When the mate he deserted 15 years ago shows up on the guardians front lawn, he tries everything in his power to convince her of his feelings, except complete their mating. The group must also figure out who had kidnapped her and left her at their feet. Kira is a Reviver that doesn't really know anything about her powers, although she's starting to learn how powerful they are. This is the third full book in the Alpha Guardians Series. As with the other books in the series, this was good and one I couldn't stop once I started. I like how the author is able to find unique situations for each couple without having to deviate from the formula. I can't wait until the next book. I highly recommend this book and the series. **I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review**

Review of Hear No Evil by Vivian Wood - 5 Stars

Gabriel Thorne is one of the Alpha Guardians and a bear shifter. He's originally from London England from several hundred years ago. When he sees Cassie, he knows she's his mate. Unlike others, he doesn't want a mate for fear that he can't protect her. Cassie is an Oracle that has been held captive by Pere Mal. When the Alpha Guardians rescue her and Gabriel is found to be her mate, she picks up on his reluctance at having a mate which adds an irritation to the situation. While they struggle through figuring out how to end the next piece to Pere Mal's plan, they slowly form the bond that was meant to be. This is the continuation of the overall battle of the Alpha Guardians as the protect New Orleans and start to find their mates. While it's a relatively short book, the author is able to fit in a full story while continuing the overall story. It's pretty fast-paced and I was unable to put it down until it was finished. **I received an ARC of this story in

Rhys Macauley is a bear shifter from the Scottish Highlands from several hundred years ago. He was brought to present-day New Orleans to be an Alpha Guardian and to help fight against VooDoo king Pere Mal. He didn't expect to find his mate in the process. Echo is a medium who can communicate with ghosts. When she finds out she's Rhys's mate and a key in Pere Mal's evil plan, she's not sure what to make of it. Will they survive the upcoming battle? I really enjoyed this book, the first in a series by an author that's new to me. While the overall concept of alpha males protecting a city isn't exactly new, putting the time pull spin into it helped to make it unique. I liked getting to watch Rhys and Echo as they got to know each other and accept each other as mates. I also really liked the overall storyline that will continue with the next book. **I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review**

Review of Evil Abound byVivian Wood - 5 Stars

Excellent Prequel This was a great introduction to the Alpha Guardian series. Since I had never heard of this author before, it gave an excellent view of Mere Marie and detailed backstory to the three main Alpha Guardians. I flew right through it. I highly recommend this story and the rest of the series to anyone that likes this genre. **I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review**

Review of Flirting With Sin by Naima Simone - 5 Stars

Ari is the lead singer of a rock band, but he needs a break, especially with the anniversary of a tragedy coming up. When he swaps vacations with his manager to get away, he didn't realize he'd be set up in a match-making lodge with a beautiful woman. Neveah's stuck going on a match-making trip thanks to her blackmailing sister. When the man sharing the trip with her is none other than Ari, she doesn't know what to do. This was a quick but fulfilling story. The author did an excellent job of packing a full story that grabs you right from the beginning. You get a good background and feel for both main characters. Great story and characters. I highly recommend for anyone that likes this genre and author.

Review of The Curse of Lord Stanstead - 4 Stars

**I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review** The Order of The M.U.S.E. noticed a weird rash of fires around London that could only be attributed to someone with special fire abilities. They send Garret, a man whose powers include placing thoughts into others' minds. When Garret finds the unwitting pyro, he kidnaps her and brings her to the Order to teach her about her gift. This wasn't a typical historical romance. There's not many out there that include paranormal elements and other key elements to the story. At first it seemed a pretty straight-forward story, but towards the end, the author put in some very interesting twists into the plot. I highly recommend to anyone that likes this genre.

Review of Tall, Dark, and Immortal by Cat Devon - 4 Stars

**I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review** Alex Sanches is a detective for Chicago PD. He also happens to be hiding the fact that he's a vampire. When reporter Kiera Turner barges in on him demanding answers for a series of robberies and accusing him of being said vampire, he does the first thing that comes to mind, he kidnaps her and brings her back to the territory he lives in. 24hrs ago, Kiera was blissfully ignorant of the supernatural world. Now, not only does she find out that there are vampires, demons, and witches, but she's the granddaughter of the most feared vampire hunter and attracted to the #1 vampire on her grandfather's hit list. This was a fast paced story with many quirky characters. The chemistry between Alex and Kiera is quick and fierce, no matter how much he tries to deny it. Watching Kiera as she learns this new world was definitely interesting. I'll probably never look at the Wills Tower the same:)  Grea

Review of Wicked Lies by Lora Leigh - 5 Stars

**I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review** Jazz Lansing is the easy going playboy of the town, or so everyone thinks. Right now he's focused on Annie, the new school teacher who won't give him the time of day. Annie's hiding a secret, one that will get anyone that's too close to her killed.  But once Jazz ups his pursuit, Annie just can't resist him. Like all of Lora Leigh's books, this one was a great read. It was really hawt and had a plot that kept me reading. I liked learning about all of the characters that were created in this world. I look forward to reading the next book in this series.I highly recommend it to anyone that likes this genre and any fans of Lora Leigh.

Review of My Highland Bride by Maeve Greyson - 4 Stars

**I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review** Colum is the womanizing man-at-arms for his clan. When he is ordered by his chief's wife and mother-in-law to cut the womanizing and guard his chief's sister, he grudgingly does it until he gets a look at her. Kenna is from a long line of time-traveling witches. She also has several other powers that she keeps under wraps. When her grandmother tells her it's time to leave the 21st century and come back to 13th century Scotland, she's not exactly happy. When she is transported through and sees Colum, she's almost ready to accept her fate, until she looks in his memories and sees some of what Colum had been up to in the past. Can he convince her that he feels she's worth changing? This book was pretty good from the beginning. I did start to fear it was be like most typical highlander romances and was pleasantly surprised with the twists that the author wrote for the character, eve
