Sky's best friend is River. River has always been a wild card and loved being one. Sky's Uncle Tony was getting married to PePe and she was like the daughter they never had. Sky thought she had a dream with Bradley and for three years it was. Then he gave her the biggest hurt in her life when he cheated on her so she dumped him. Sky's planning Uncle Tony's wedding. She had just taken off her gown when a man fell through the roof. His name was Hayden. Sky's mother brings home a plastic surgeon that she had grown up with. He asked her to lunch and she goes but ends it as soon as she can.
Sky is very family-oriented, but when push comes to shove she finally says enough is enough. She is loyal, loving, and conscientious. She knows and shows that you don't have to be blood to be family. She grew up a lot throughout the story by ending a bad relationship, standing up for herself, and letting her heart feel again. She is a totally delightful character. Hayden is a truly nice guy. He has a big heart, he's kind, sweet, and caring. He's the type that is really there for you.
I totally loved this story and highly recommend it.

**I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review** Maddy was dating an angel, MJ. MJ is a protector who has broken a lot of rules, but some he had to keep. MJ told Maddy she was his heart and he would fight before he would let anyone take her. Maddy had some special powers of her own. The characters were good, especially Maddy, who was overwhelmed with powers she couldn't control and the love she couldn't state and MJ. The plot was good as was the overall story. It dragged a little bit, but overall a good story. I recommend, although I didn't like the ending.

He was from Tennessee and he was an attorney. Maggie was a cake decorator and childhood friend of Fiona, the bride. Maggie and her sister Emily had formed Two Heart Catering two months before. Emily called Maggie away from Chad as the cake had been ruined. Maggie was the responsible and reliable half of the company. Emily was the creative cook.
