Morgan, when she made a demand, it was met. Wherever she went, there was a path of destruction, carnage and blood. It was her calling card and trademark. Morgan wants her kind to rule the planet. She felt that humans were the bottom of the food chain. Taris had been preparing Hayley for the change, but it still killed her. They were trying to keep their race from extinction. Hayley had come up with the immunity theory in the first place. Taris had found Hayley on the streets 10yrs ago. She was only 13. The human immunity system was rejecting the change. Finding the cure is the only way a vampire mother can have a vampire child.
This book was too slow moving. It couldn't keep my interest. It kept jumping to different people. Made it really hard to finish.

**I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review** Maddy was dating an angel, MJ. MJ is a protector who has broken a lot of rules, but some he had to keep. MJ told Maddy she was his heart and he would fight before he would let anyone take her. Maddy had some special powers of her own. The characters were good, especially Maddy, who was overwhelmed with powers she couldn't control and the love she couldn't state and MJ. The plot was good as was the overall story. It dragged a little bit, but overall a good story. I recommend, although I didn't like the ending.

He was from Tennessee and he was an attorney. Maggie was a cake decorator and childhood friend of Fiona, the bride. Maggie and her sister Emily had formed Two Heart Catering two months before. Emily called Maggie away from Chad as the cake had been ruined. Maggie was the responsible and reliable half of the company. Emily was the creative cook.
