Review of Varied Traits by Patrick Brown

**I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review**
Joey McIntosh worked at a car dealership. He had met Bud Sherman at the University of Georgia when they both played football. Together they planned on going to some strip clubs and partying. Milicent Ivy was an aerobics teacher. She worked at the Atlanta Rec Center. Klaus was a member and asked her if she wanted to hang out with him. When she said no, he went after her when she was heading to her car. Salem Reid saw Klaus grab her and stepped in to help her. Salem didn't like bullies. Joey and Salem had been friends in high school. He called Salem to help him when he woke up in a hotel with little memory of what happened. When they got to Joey's house, they found a dead woman who was a stripper named Velvet and Salem recognized her. He was determined to find out what happened to Velvet (or Sarah as he knew her).
Salem was a decent guy. He was physically and mentally strong. He could be sweet and he could be very determined. He was loyal and did what had to be done. I enjoyed his character.
It was a good book and well written. The plot and characters were very good. I enjoyed it and recommend it.
