Review of I Choose You by Kristina O'Grady

Helga Hanson is having a bad month. She and her boyfriend recently broke up after he was cheating on  her, her last two movies flopped, and her agent hasn't bothered to help her find anything to improve her career. When she gets a call from a big-time movie producer, she jumps at the chance even though it's unlike anything she's ever been in. She decides to head to the movie location early to have some private time to prepare. Ben Copeland is the son of the owner of the ranch where the filming will take place and brother to the B&B that Helga will be staying at. Upon first running into each other, sparks fly with an instant attraction. Unfortunately, Ben seems to believe in the hype and have little faith in her as a person.
This story wasn't that bad. There wasn't a lot for big plot points and it was fairly predictable. I found Helga a little too good to be true as a big-time Hollywood actress, a bit too down to earth. In each situation that Ben believes everything but her, she forgives him rather easily. I did like Ben's character though. Given each situation, couldn't really blame him much for jumping to conclusions. Even though the story spans several months, I found there to be limited interactions between the main characters for there to be such strong feelings.
Still, an easy and quick read. I would recommend it for those that are looking for just that.
