Review of VIP: Rock & Release Pt 1 by Riley Edgewood

Cassidy's brother Jason had died of an overdose. She was trying to move on with her life. She's interning for the CEO of Chambers and Britt, a Fortune 500 company, starting the following week. Teagan, who had been Cassidy's friend since they were young, had called into a podcast and had one VIP tickets to a Demi Jade concert. They were in the VIP lounge and Gage was singing and playing guitar. Teagan causes a scene and leaves Cassidy there. Cassidy ends up going home with Gage. Cassidy decides to not do the internship so her dad kicks her out of the house.
Cassidy has gone through a lot over the last 6 months. She can't seem to get through to her parents. She pushes a lot of her feelings for her brother down inside. She puts herself in a whole new world with no complications, yet in reality she cares about Gage and she is feeling the loss of her brother. She still has a ways to go, but I am enjoying her journey so far. Gage loves his sister. He cares about Cassidy and her loss. He's just an out and out nice person. I'm looking forward to the next part in this story.
