Review of Omega by SM Reine

It's been 10 years since everyone died and many of them were reborn. Most of those reborn were now OTHER, like shape shifters and vampires. Deidre was one such person that was reborn as a shape shifter. She has many of the attributes, but unfortunately, she can't actually shift. This makes her an Omega and an outcast. Yet somehow she's found herself an MVP between two alphas: the Alpha in charge of all shifters and the Alpha that is forming an uprising to become the Alpha in charge.
As soon as I started reading this book, I was totally drawn in. Deidre has been given the short end of the stick since the beginning of her "new" life. She's just trying to survive with what's been given to her when she's suddenly thrust in this war. During the entire novel, you can't help but feel for her. By her lot in life, she should be on the side of the rebels, but dreams of a better life and morals draw her in to helping the current Alpha, even at the risk of her life. Either way, you want her to survive and come out on top. I can't wait for the next one in this series.
I would highly recommend anyone that's a fan of urban fantasy.
