Review of The Vampire Jerome by Ann B. Morris

Jerome Whitcome is waiting at the airport for his brother Julian. To the Whitcombe family, honor and family come before all else. Dottie had been kidnapped by the evil vampire Zurik and had a neurological condition that sent her into a deep sleep with little warning. Julian had agreed to help and contacted a doctor for her. Dottie was Simone's step-sister, whom is engaged to Julian. Jerome had a response as soon as he touched Dottie. Dottie had been held by Zurik for two months. Jerome watched over Dottie as the others slept.
Jerome admitted he had a love of sarcasm but was often cynical, self-indulgent, and at times, outright rebellious. Jerome was the odd man out, most resistant to the change in his nature on his 18th birthday. He was also the middle child and felt he had been overlooked by his mom as well as Julian's shifter Michael. Jerome had always found something or someone else to blame when things didn't work out the way they should. Jerome was having problems with his balance and often got dizzy. Jerome's second in command is Ambrose.
Dottie is a very caring woman. She's attracted to Jerome. She can be stubborn, determined and very defiant. She's a good and caring person, even helping Jerome when he was a jerk.
The book was really good. It was a perfect follow-up to the first book. I'm really looking forward to the third installment of this series.
