Review of Just a Little Flirt by Renita Pizzitola

This is the story of Fallon, the roommate of Brinley from the author's first book, Just A Little Crush. Because of that book, I had a preconceived notion of Fallon as the stereotypical college party girl that likes to get around. Because of this, I was a little hesitant to read the book. However, I'm very happy that the publisher sent me an invite to try this book through NetGalley. I think it shows how good an author is when they can take a character not necessarily liked and turn her around and make you really sympathize with her.

This book starts in Fallon's life shortly after the first book ends. It's the first day of orientation for her internship at a local hospital. On her way there, she's running late and, literally, runs into Cade Ryan, a volunteer at the hospital. Cade is everything Fallon feels she isn't and doesn't want to hook up with: a genuine good person. This internship gives her an opportunity to find something she really enjoys and can be good at so she's determined not to screw it up and let her partying ways ruin it for her, which means avoiding the perfect Cade. The only problem is that he makes it hard to resist

With this book in Fallon's POV, it gives the reader an opportunity to feel what she feels and find out why she is the way she is. She does a bit of growing and healing in this book with the determination on Cade's part to not let her quit on him. In the beginning of the book Fallon appears to be very self assured when it comes to everything in life, especially getting any man she's after. The farther the book goes, the reader experiences Fallon's deep insecurities as they come out when she finally faces her feelings. Excellent book. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.
