Review of Inhuman Interest by Eric Turowski

Tess is a reporter at a local newspaper. There had been four cemetery burglaries in the city, each about a month apart. Tess called the police and asked for Detective Austin and asked if they had figured out that the guy hit during the full moon. It had been a five month investigation. Corpses had been taken, but the valuables hadn't. Tess loved mysteries, but felt she was going to get fired from the paper as they had her working on stories she didn't like. Devon Egypt ran an ad for an assistant for two years starting ASAP. Tess was the first to apply. He wanted her to help with occult research. Devon worked at night. He was a very odd man.
I found Tess to be quite a character, not really knowing what she was doing when she started working for Devon. She grew to trust him. She was smart, mentally strong and could be a very determined person when she chose to be. She was also compassionate and caring. I enjoyed this book. I would probably recommend it to science fiction readers.
