Review of Songbird by Syrie James


Desiree is a DJ who works for KICK radio. She's been there 7 years working evenings and nights, but she's finally made it to prime time days. Desiree did a trivia question and Kyle Harrison won the prize. He showed up at the studio right near Desiree. He owned Harrison Industries. He invited Desiree to share his prize, which was a meal for two. Kyle lived in Seattle. Kyle was very determined to have time with Desiree and she was just as determined to keep him away from her heart. Desiree felt she had put in her dues to get where she was at. She knew she was afraid to offer any kind of commitment.
I enjoyed the book. I liked the ins and outs and was happy the way the book came together. I would recommend it to anyone who likes romances with a kick.

Review of Ignited by Laurie Wetzel - 4 Stars

**I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review** Maddy was dating an angel, MJ. MJ is a protector who has broken a lot of rules, but some he had to keep. MJ told Maddy she was his heart and he would fight before he would let anyone take her. Maddy had some special powers of her own. The characters were good, especially Maddy, who was overwhelmed with powers she couldn't control and the love she couldn't state and MJ. The plot was good as was the overall story. It dragged a little bit, but overall a good story. I recommend, although I didn't like the ending.

Her Wolf by Rebecca Royce My rating: 4 of 5 stars Ashlee Morrison thinks she’s going crazy...again. She’s become a bit obsessed with a wolf who may or may not be talking to her. Tristan Kane is a shifter that has been stuck in his wolf form and trapped at a zoo. When he finally gets a real scent of a worker that he’s been keeping an eye on makes him realize that she’s actually his mate. Like with all of this author’s books, this was a really good story and I really loved all of the characters. I really felt for Ashlee as she basically had her world flipped upside down right from the beginning. The only thing that bothered me was that it felt rushed in some places where I would’ve liked it to not have been.
