Review of Paranormal Keepers by Jen Naumann



Harper's boyfriend Gavin had been killed the year before. Everyone blamed Harper, but there was no proof. Shortly after that, strange things that Harper couldn't explain, happened on a daily basis. Human-shaped shadows moving around her, dark figures lurking outside her bedroom window, strange noises in the middle of the night. Vhunter is an online friend that Harper talks to a lot. At a homicide scene, Harper meets Lexie, then wakes up on a stone slab. Lexie tells her that she's at Guardane Academy. There was an agreement between humans and unearthly creatures. Keepers clean up after creature attacks and do whatever it takes to ensure the agreement. At the academy, keepers learn how to deal with the creatures and how to keep the secret safe. Vhunter's real name is Dexter. He's a keeper at the academy.
Harper is a strong girl, but has been lost since the murder of her boyfriend. I found her to be loyal and caring, but has a low opinion of herself. She feels like she doesn't fit in anywhere. Dexter is kind, caring, and loyal. He's also a smart and strong young man.
I would recommend the book to anyone that likes paranormal plots.

Review of Ignited by Laurie Wetzel - 4 Stars

**I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review** Maddy was dating an angel, MJ. MJ is a protector who has broken a lot of rules, but some he had to keep. MJ told Maddy she was his heart and he would fight before he would let anyone take her. Maddy had some special powers of her own. The characters were good, especially Maddy, who was overwhelmed with powers she couldn't control and the love she couldn't state and MJ. The plot was good as was the overall story. It dragged a little bit, but overall a good story. I recommend, although I didn't like the ending.

Her Wolf by Rebecca Royce My rating: 4 of 5 stars Ashlee Morrison thinks she’s going crazy...again. She’s become a bit obsessed with a wolf who may or may not be talking to her. Tristan Kane is a shifter that has been stuck in his wolf form and trapped at a zoo. When he finally gets a real scent of a worker that he’s been keeping an eye on makes him realize that she’s actually his mate. Like with all of this author’s books, this was a really good story and I really loved all of the characters. I really felt for Ashlee as she basically had her world flipped upside down right from the beginning. The only thing that bothered me was that it felt rushed in some places where I would’ve liked it to not have been.
