Review of A Promise of Grace by Lynette Sowell - 5 Stars

**I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review**
Silas Fry's wife had been killed by a semi-truck. He was now in Florida with the kids but they had lived in Africa. Lena was almost 19 and Matthew was 14. Rochelle was 39. The only other home she had known besides Pinecroft was Ohio. She was a Mennonite and a professional cleaning woman. Rochelle, Belinda, and Silas had all been best friends at one time. At 21 Silas had wanted to marry Rochelle.
Rochelle was a good woman. She was kind, compassionate and giving. She had to let go of the past to find happiness. She grew in this story. Silas was trying to get his family back to normal after they had grieved for their mom and he his wife. Silas had given in on Rochelle in the past and had stepped in to help a woman in need. He also grew in this book and found the love he thought he had lost forever.
This was a good story. It had good characters and a plot. I highly recommend it to anyone that likes this genre.
