Review of The Orion Mask by Greg Herren

**I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review**
Heath snuck into his dad's home office and found his birth certificate. He found out that the woman who raised him was not his birth mother, whose name was Genevieve and he was born in New Orleans, not Florida, where he'd thought he'd lived his whole life. While waiting to go home from work at the airport, a man approached Heath. His name was Jerry. He wanted to talk to Heath about his birth mom. Also, in her death, she had been a painter. In her death notice, it listed her family members, people Heath had never heard of. They owned a plantation called Chamborb. Heath had always found solace in books, even at a young age. He had always wanted to be a write. Jerry offered to look at his work. Genevieve had killed herself when he was 3. Until then, he had lived in New Orleans.
Heath was a good man. He worked so he could go to college. He loved the woman who had raised him. She would always be his mom. He was old-fashioned as far as love went. I liked his character a lot, as well as the other characters in this story.
The plot and overall story were great. I highly recommend.
