The Navy SEAL's Christmas Review by Cora Seton



This was my first story by this author, so I didn't have any starting expectations. Once I started, though, I didn't stop until it was done. I totally emphasize with Sarah having to compete in a stereotypical job and having to try to prove to herself. I didn't really care for Dan's sexism with this in the beginning, but as the story went on, it appeared to be just an ego thing and not too particularly against women. When they finally hooked up, it was hilarious. I can't wait to read more from this author.

**I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review** Maddy was dating an angel, MJ. MJ is a protector who has broken a lot of rules, but some he had to keep. MJ told Maddy she was his heart and he would fight before he would let anyone take her. Maddy had some special powers of her own. The characters were good, especially Maddy, who was overwhelmed with powers she couldn't control and the love she couldn't state and MJ. The plot was good as was the overall story. It dragged a little bit, but overall a good story. I recommend, although I didn't like the ending.

**I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review** Maggie was at a wedding reception and at the reject table, met a handsome man named Chad Robertson. He was from Tennessee and he was an attorney. Maggie was a cake decorator and childhood friend of Fiona, the bride. Maggie and her sister Emily had formed Two Heart Catering two months before. Emily called Maggie away from Chad as the cake had been ruined. Maggie was the responsible and reliable half of the company. Emily was the creative cook. Chad was attracted to Maggie and recently he had decided he was bored. Emily is the drama queen, and even though she's younger, Maggie has been brought up to take care of her.
