Angel Mendoza has run the Blackhawk Ranch his entire adult life. It has been in his family for generations. After his father almost ran it to ruin, he has strived to make it a success. So when his wells are running dry, he’ll do anything to get water back into them. Rose Jordan is the step-sister he almost had. She and her mother had lived on the ranch when she was 16 and he was 23. It was all he could do to resist her. Now she back and she’s an adult so he’s vowed to make her his.
Wow! I am not too crazy about contemporaries, but I really loved this one. My heart really cried for Rose for everything that she has been through and what she wants. I felt that Angel was able to give her what she craved and in return she was able to help heal him a bit too. I highly recommend.

**I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review** Maddy was dating an angel, MJ. MJ is a protector who has broken a lot of rules, but some he had to keep. MJ told Maddy she was his heart and he would fight before he would let anyone take her. Maddy had some special powers of her own. The characters were good, especially Maddy, who was overwhelmed with powers she couldn't control and the love she couldn't state and MJ. The plot was good as was the overall story. It dragged a little bit, but overall a good story. I recommend, although I didn't like the ending.

**I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review** Maggie was at a wedding reception and at the reject table, met a handsome man named Chad Robertson. He was from Tennessee and he was an attorney. Maggie was a cake decorator and childhood friend of Fiona, the bride. Maggie and her sister Emily had formed Two Heart Catering two months before. Emily called Maggie away from Chad as the cake had been ruined. Maggie was the responsible and reliable half of the company. Emily was the creative cook.
