Keeshan has been cursed and trapped in a magic lamp for 2000 years. Every 100 years he is sent one woman to love. As soon as they fall in love, she is taken from him and then he’s left with heartbreak for another one hundred years. In present time, he is sent Aimalee. Aimalee is quick witted and rather than just succumb to Keeshan’s body, she wants to find a way to help him, but can she?
This is the second story I’ve read by this author and I really enjoyed it. This was pretty quick with plenty of hot scenes. While some of it was pretty obvious, I was actually surprised by some of the plot twists. It was definitely written as if it had come from one of my fantasies. I have only read one or two stories with this kind of theme so it was a nice break for the typical paranormal or contemporary story. I highly recommend it.

**I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review** Maddy was dating an angel, MJ. MJ is a protector who has broken a lot of rules, but some he had to keep. MJ told Maddy she was his heart and he would fight before he would let anyone take her. Maddy had some special powers of her own. The characters were good, especially Maddy, who was overwhelmed with powers she couldn't control and the love she couldn't state and MJ. The plot was good as was the overall story. It dragged a little bit, but overall a good story. I recommend, although I didn't like the ending.

He was from Tennessee and he was an attorney. Maggie was a cake decorator and childhood friend of Fiona, the bride. Maggie and her sister Emily had formed Two Heart Catering two months before.
