Review of When Darkness Ends by Alexandra Ivy

**I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review**
Cyn was the clan chief of Ireland and a former berzerker, but he's still a vampire who'd been asleep for 1000 years. Cyn was also a warrior and a ruthless killer. Fallon was a princess in the fey world. She comes to and finds herself and Cyn naked and far away from home. A demon, who was also an oracle and had enough power to crush Cyn and his clan, appeared in her cage. Her name was Silzar. She feared the commission, the rulers of the Underworld, was being controlled. Fallon could scry and look into other dimensions and obtain several images at one time. Silzar believes someone is forcing the commission to combine their power to cast a spell. She wanted Cyn and Fallon to discover if this was true or not. Cyn had a love of history and he was to protect Fallon as well as decipher a fragile scroll.
Cyn was a great leader. He loved his clan, his friends and his foster family. He was physically and mentally strong and caring, could strategize and carry out the strategy to the best of his ability. He could be kind and protective. I loved his character. Fallon could be aristocratic, but that wasn't really her. She wanted to help. She was adventurous and pushed to be her own woman. She was also loyal and true. She was also physically and mentally strong, something she learned on her journey through this story. She was also a great character.
I thoroughly enjoyed the plot and story. I highly recommend it to anyone that likes this genre.
