Review of Moon Bayou by J.R. Rain - 5 Stars


**I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review**
Sam Moon went to New Orleans. She had been hired to find Wendy, a missing girl who originally went to New Orleans with Habitat For Humanity to help build homes. She had been missing 6 weeks. Wendy also had a missing roommate, Angela Jenkins. Sam is a vampire and a private investigator. Sam had been set up and taken by some bad vampires. Wendy had become a vessel to the vampires. Sam had been sent back in time by voodoo. Sam loved her kids and cared about her boyfriend Kingsly.
She was physically and mentally strong. She had all the pluses of being a vampire, but managed to keep her humanity. When she was sent back in time, she was determined to get home no matter what. I enjoyed the plot, characters, twists and turns throughout the story. I highly recommend it to anyone that likes this genre.

Review of Ignited by Laurie Wetzel - 4 Stars

**I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review** Maddy was dating an angel, MJ. MJ is a protector who has broken a lot of rules, but some he had to keep. MJ told Maddy she was his heart and he would fight before he would let anyone take her. Maddy had some special powers of her own. The characters were good, especially Maddy, who was overwhelmed with powers she couldn't control and the love she couldn't state and MJ. The plot was good as was the overall story. It dragged a little bit, but overall a good story. I recommend, although I didn't like the ending.

**I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review** Maggie was at a wedding reception and at the reject table, met a handsome man named Chad Robertson. He was from Tennessee and he was an attorney. Maggie was a cake decorator and childhood friend of Fiona, the bride. Maggie and her sister Emily had formed Two Heart Catering two months before. Emily called Maggie away from Chad as the cake had been ruined. Maggie was the responsible and reliable half of the company. Emily was the creative cook.
