Review of The Sound of Glass by Karen White

**I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review**
Meredith and Cal had been married 7 years when he died. He was a firefighter. Cal had never spoke of his family. When his grandmother died her house was left to Meredith. Meredith decided to leave Maine and move there. Nobody had been in unfree house for 2 decades except Cal's grandmother. Gibbes was Cal's younger brother. He was a pediatrician. Loralee was 36 and Meridith's step-mother. Owen was Meridith's 10yr old half- brother Meredith had never met.
Meredith was a very timid person who just wanted to be left alone. She thought of herself as a coward and loser. Once inn Beaufort she found more than she bargained for, including herself. She grew in several different ways and learned to open her heart to several people. Gibbes had many questions of his own. He was a kind man with a generous heart. He was very surprised at the type of woman Meridith is until he learns her secrets. He was loyal and true but also grew in the story.
I enjoyed the twists and turns in this story. I loved the characters, plot and story. I highly recommend.
