Review of The Millionaire by Victoria Purman

**I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review**

Ellie Flannery is a small-time reporter for The Western Gazette but doesn't have the killer instinct needed. Ellie's best friend is Bron who recently moved to One-Mile Bay. Ellie was sitting on the beach and saw Chris Malone, a famous photographer. Chris is also from a rich family but has turned his back on them. Ellie's true passion is fundraising. She's having a charity ball for the royal flying doctors who had saved her grandfather's life. Ellie went to Chris to donate one of his pictures.

I found Ellie to be very determined. She adores her grandparents and was at first starstruck by Chris as he was her idol. You really like her portrayal in this book. Chris is kind of shell-shocked by everything he has seen in the world while taking his photographs. As you read on, you realize he's really a nice guy. I did enjoy this book. It was well-written. It was a typical romance.
