Review: Haunted Years

Haunted Years Haunted Years by Rebecca Royce
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Heather Rosen was on her way to one final mental institute in San Francisco. She’s been seeing, and harassed by, ghosts her entire life but her family is convinced she’s crazy, so she’s been in one treatment facility after another but nothing has helped. While being escorted on the plane by her grandmother, she sees an entirely too sexy man and decides to have one final act of defiance and asks him to help her join the mile high club. Braxton was being sent back to San Francisco by Master Foy with no clear purpose. When a beautiful woman asks him to join her in the restroom on the plane, he can hardly say no. When he’s later told by Master Foy that he must hurry and retrieve her before something bad happens, he hardly believes it’s a coincidence.

This is the third book in the series I’ve read and it keeps getting better and better. In this one we see the female lead become stronger with a power she didn’t know she had. Braxton’s character, whom we already had a hint of what he was going through in a previous book, is able to go through self-redemption as well as learn about other events that have affected his past. We also get to finally learn a bit about the mystery that is Master Foy. Once I started reading the book, I couldn’t stop until I was done. I loved the book and am loving the series. I highly recommend.
