Penny has been in New York for the past 5 years, far away from her hometown in Alabama. Ever since her one true love, Colton, inexplicably broke up with her, she’s avoided like the plague. She’s decided it’s time to return and confront him, only he doesn’t remember her at all…
All I can say is WOW! So I’m not too much into general contemporary romance, but this one sounded good so I thought I’d give it a try. This was definitely an emotional roller coaster and even for someone like me who doesn’t necessarily believe in soul mates, it makes you want to believe. My heart cried for both Colton and Penny. For everything Colton lost and for the heartache Penny experience once she went home. It was definitely worth the loss of sleep I experienced because I couldn’t put it down. I highly recommend.

**I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review** Maddy was dating an angel, MJ. MJ is a protector who has broken a lot of rules, but some he had to keep. MJ told Maddy she was his heart and he would fight before he would let anyone take her. Maddy had some special powers of her own. The characters were good, especially Maddy, who was overwhelmed with powers she couldn't control and the love she couldn't state and MJ. The plot was good as was the overall story. It dragged a little bit, but overall a good story. I recommend, although I didn't like the ending.

Her Wolf by Rebecca Royce My rating: 4 of 5 stars Ashlee Morrison thinks she’s going crazy...again. She’s become a bit obsessed with a wolf who may or may not be talking to her. Tristan Kane is a shifter that has been stuck in his wolf form and trapped at a zoo. When he finally gets a real scent of a worker that he’s been keeping an eye on makes him realize that she’s actually his mate. Like with all of this author’s books, this was a really good story and I really loved all of the characters. I really felt for Ashlee as she basically had her world flipped upside down right from the beginning. The only thing that bothered me was that it felt rushed in some places where I would’ve liked it to not have been.
