Blonde Eskimo
Neiva is staying with her grandmother for her senior year at Spirit Alaska. She was approaching her 17th birthday, which was celebrating a special rite of passage on Spirit. She also had a crush on her friend Nate, who had changed drastically since she saw him last, until she saw the mysterious Darius.
A truly EPIC story. I really enjoyed going on Neiva's journey with her. She proved her loyalty and honor in coming above many obstacles. It was a great overall story with a great plot and characters. I highly recommend it.

Review of Hotter Than Helltown by SM Reine

This is the first book I have read by this author. I was definitely curious especially since it is in a man's point of view. This is the third book in the Preternatural Affairs series. It follows a male witch, Cesar Hawke, as he and his partner have to solve a crime involving mutilated dead bodies that are popping up all over the place. It took me a little while to get to this book, but once I got into it, I didn't put it down until I was done. Cesar is absolutely hilarious. I found him squeamish, unsure of himself, always seems to have a plan, and yet very likable. He is also very loyal to his partner and his director. Towards the end of the book, he is able to find the confidence he needs to pull off some hard magic and save his boss. I look forward to reading more books with him in it.

Review of The Girl Who Ignored Ghosts by K.C. Tansley - 5 Stars

**I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review** Kat was in Professor McTernan's class of the lore and lure of historical places. Kat had to do a paper on a double murder that happened in 1886. Ghosts were things that Kat had actively avoided for the last 8 years. Ghosts were a constant presence since childhood, but Kat had some things to help her. Kat was a young woman who had powers and she connected with her ancestors to do what had to be done. She was a great character, as were all the others. The plot and overall story were very entertaining. I highly recommend.
